I was told that bananas were the best natural cure for heartburn, not milk like so many believe. As far as everyday foods, that probably differs for everyone. Probably avoiding citrus and tomato products as well as heavy spices should avoid most incidences of heartburn.
1.Your best friend is bulk oatmeal which is cooked so easily in the dreaded microwave(stovetop is better) but this is easy so will get it done before work every day and at night for a cinnamon-rich snack and no acid nighttime surprises.
I soak my oats the night before so i can just stick it in the microwave
buy bulk oats and keep in a clear cannister next to the micro with a 1/2 cup measuring cup in it
put into bowl:
1/2 cup oatmeal oats
3- 1/2 cups of water
( i add cranberries or blueberries if u like or a piece of seaweed)
Microwave on 5 power for 5 minutes!!
add cinnamon, maple syrup, cool whip if it gets you to eat it. lol
I use cool whip and organic cinnamon on it for a nighttime treat instead of soy yogurt ice cream.
OATS ARE GREAT FOR THE HEART AND SOOTHING AS WELL.
