Heartburn Gerd Causes, Symptoms & Treatments Questions
Pregnancy.
Do a urine test, madame.
I wish I could give you an answer, but you had better go see a doctor about this. They’ll have an answer…Never trust random people on the internet to give you accurate health advice apart from "see a doctor!"
I will say, however, that GERD doesn’t usually come with a heightened sense of smell. I would see a gastroenterologist about the stomach issues, and when you’re there, bring up the smell thing. Your gastro doctor might send you to a neurologist about that. If you’ve been formally diagnosed with GERD, then you’re a step ahead of the game, but if you haven’t, there are usually tests that need to be performed. I’ve noticed that (and I’m not saying it’s you, for all I know you could be the GERD poster-child) people toss the name GERD around whenever they get heartburn… I don’t know if it’s people trying to make things sound more serious, or just too much WebMD, but heartburn doesn’t necessarily mean GERD. Anyways, I hope I was at least able to help a little, if by nothing other than pointing you in the right direction.
