What else can you eat if you have GERD (acid reflux disease)?

They say I can’t eat spicy, tomato sauce, fatty, citrus, etc….but what is left there to eat besides veggies, fruits, and poultry? I don’t want to starve myself. Because sometimes it feels that way. My GERD symptoms are somewhat improving, but what else can I eat? Do I need some kind of dietary supplement?

I have suffered through GERD also. I changed my diet to primarily fruits and vegetables but do eat all the foods that you aren’t supposed sometimes. The thing is, you need to alkalize your body, and once you do that, you will be able to eat all the spicy, tomato sauce, and fatty foods, to a limit of course. I felt the same way, fruits and vegetables really do not fill you up, and keep you hungry.
I would eat some rice with my vegetables most of the time to help me feel full. Also, why not make some stir fried vegetables with some cooked chicken on top. Its delicious, healthy, and exactly what you should be eating. Just remember to use very little oil, and not too much chicken, as it is an acidic food, and will worsen your GERD if you consume too much before your body is alkalized.
Hope I’ve helped.
