I havent gotten heartburn yet. Im 18 weeks. hmmm. But ill try to avoid these foods when it starts. If it does. I hope it doesnt!
pizza and anything with cheese and milk
when I was pregnant it was rice.
old wives tale if you have a lot of hearburn during your pregnancy your baby will have a lot of hair. I did and she did for my second one, I had very little to no heartburn for my first one and she was pretty much bald.
I get Heart burn from Nothing, or anything even water sometimes… "They say" if you have heartburn baby will come with a lot of hair and I joke around saying this little ones coming with long hair ! LOL..
I keep Tums everywhere !
Peanuts
lately– I think the shorter list would be what DOESN’T give me heartburn!!
anything spicy, or with a lot of acid.. like tomatoes, citrus fruit.. these things are the worst…. also fried foods
I can eat a banana and have heartburn… yea its that bad lol!!
Tums are my best friend!
Definitely anything with red sause. Also, anything with lots of spices- not necessarily hot spices, but lots of them- like seasoned steak. Oh, and hamburgers. I find that milk helps a lot- a drink about 3 glasses a day, and the "berry" tums aren’t all that horrible.
EVERYTHING!! I could look at food and get heartburn!! I started drinking water at room temp because cold water gave me heartburn, with my daughter I could eat all the spicy food I wanted… I dumped Tabasco sauce on everything I ate, and was fine… but water gave me heartburn, go figure. With my son, it didn’t matter what i di, everything gave it to me.
I had terrible heartburn in my 3rd trimester with my twins.
Water used to give me terrible heartburn! I bought the giant container of Tums and used to chew them like candy!
Best wishes for a happy & healthy delivery!
Bread, pizza, bacon, sausages, chips, anything dry or fatty!!
I haven’t found anything that doesn’t give me heartburn yet. I know the old wives tale and if its true, this baby will be born with hair down to his butt.
tomato based foods and citrus foods
back in college, i used to get Pizza Hut Stuffed Crust pizza with peperoni almost every Friday and it made me start developing heartburn, especially when you eat it late at night.
Any easy way to relieve heartburn is to put a little baking soda in the palm of your hand (like 1/2 teaspoon) and just swallow it. It sounds gross, but works very fast at relieving the burn and pressure.
