Anything does if you eat it too quickly and don’t chew it properly or it’s a bit too acidic – it’s called "indigestion" no matter what the adverts say ! ! !
no…all food does….but spicy food does it better…
cucumber does! if you do eat it? cut the skin off
curry i think
Rich and spicy food can cause it. The acid from the food gives you the burning sensation
My friend has just been diagnosed with this.. doc says… ‘no chocolate…no caffeine…no spicy or fatty foods….’
spicey foods are horrible…
Depends on the individual. I’m lucky, I never have the problem.
Different foods can cause heartburn for different people. Pastry is a prime culprit, and spicy food too.
Peppers.
spicy food and acidic foods.
I think candies
tomato based foods, caffeine, alcohol and nicotine. (Yes I know nicotine isn’t a food lol but you put it in your mouth)
i think it’s hamburgers hotdogs and pizza. That’s what i think cause im only a kid.
heartburn, not sure.
ar*eburn, plenty of stuff, you can’t beat a good curry to give you a burning ring, i also find cheese gives me ring sting
i get horrendouse heartburn, usually caused by anything remotely fatty ie butter, chocolate, chips crisps.Banannas are the worst and just looking at a peice of toast sets it off.Change to Skimmed milk and go on a low fat eating plan.Rennies work well and take it away almost straight away.hope this helps
It is individual. Food which contains acid, food which was prepared in already used and stored oil. You can figure it out yourself. Be more attentive and find out after what meal you have heartburn and stop eating it. Eat an apple if you have it. It helps.
Well sometimes it can be different foods in different people. After all, sometimes one persons stomach might be able to handle certain foods that another could not.
Having said that, here is a (partial) list
Caffeine – coffee
Chocolate
Hot spices (picante, etc)
Hot peppers
some sweet peppers
raw onions
Soda pop
Beer
alcohol
Foods with acid in them like oranges and orange juice
You could take an acid reducer once or twice a day to get rid of or lesson the symptoms. I use the generic version found at many drug stores. I especially use it at night when I think I might need it to sleep better. Zantac works well for me.
Chips and anything fried causes it for me which is poetic justice in a way, as I really should not eat those things too often as they are so fattening!
Hot, spicy, and or greasy foods do it for me.
Everything causes heartburn, and if you try to prevent it you’ll have to starve yourself, and that causes heartburn too. So just get an antacid. Prylosec works well, and for temporary relief try Mylanta.
Mints are the best extra strong better. Also pepper mint tea.
spicy foods are the worse, followed by foods with a high fat content.
if this is your first time you may be wright, but repearedly you should think of medical problem ,
which means the acid food is coming back to your osephagus leading to that heart burn.
milk can reduce that.
oily foods are even the worse to bring you down feeling so heartburn after taking …..people are saying spicy foods … for one spicy foods helps you to burn up some calories ……
So basically all foods cause that … just reduce taking to much fat/oily foods continuously…..
Good luck and know you are just OK , just this Holiday that we all cant avoid a munch yummy chicken /Turkey …..and just all we can lay hands on …
So i guess after the Holidays all will just back to being Normal before the other year end gets here !!
Good luck !
acidic and spicy foods. i find milk and milky products soothe it but everyones different.
