You can, however, use Apple Cider Vinegar (2 Tablespoons) in 6 oz. of lukewarm water and 1 Teaspoon of honey to eradicate the acid. You can also use a tablespoon of Chlorophyll in a 6 oz glass of water. Either will turn your stomach from acid to alkaline which is the actual culprit here. The things that cause acid reflux are: stress, tomatoes, pickles, sugar, alcohol, poor quality fats, (Sesame oil and a good Extra Virgin Olive Oil should be the only oils used) and other triggers that are individual. Watch what you eat and see what affects you. If you can stop eating the things that cause it, you’ll get a handle on it. Good luck!
Try eating Celery, it’s a completely alkaline food which is the opposite of acid so I would say you would balance that out and feel much better.
Baking soda in water helps-try a tablespoon or two and save your money
PAPAYA EXTRACT. Get it from a health food store or vitamin shop. It usually comes in chewable minty tablets that you take after you eat. It’s natural and it helps.
try a tablespoon of white vinegar…
strong chamomile tea, an old Romanian friend told me this folk remedy. It works well, but remember it just takes care of the symptom, not the cause. Laying flat on my back works for me somehow, and fast but when I get up it’s back after a few minutes.
The fastest and most significant change for the better will be with the vinegar (posted above) BUT, make sure it is Apple Cider Vinegar (Bragg’s with the "mother"). Available at all grocery stores.
Is is possible that you are lactose intolerant??? That can be the cause of acid reflux. Maybe cut out dairy for a while, just to test it out. Make sure you supplement your calcium intake either by tablets or a milk alternative……….
