why does chocolate cause heartburn?

i have suffer with acid reflux and i wonder why chocolate gives me heartburn???

eating chocolate can cause heartburn. Through consuming chocolate, the intestine is stimulated to produce serotonin. The increased levels of serotonin cause the muscular `gate’ between the stomach and the esophagus to relax, allowing the acid from the stomach to creep up into the throat causing heartburn
The love drug in chocolate is not hypoallergenic. It chews most people’s stomachs a little or a lot.
