Will the heartburn/acid reflux go away after the baby is born?

Im 36 (almost 37 weeks) pregnant and I never got heartburn until recently and its pretty bad..Tums help a lot. But Im wondering if it will go away as soon as I have my baby or will it stick around?!

For me it basically went away although I sitll have bouts with it. My kids are now 1 and 4. I never had a problem until I was pregnant and it’s very, very annoying!!!
It will go away once there isnt a 6-8 pound human pushing up on your stomach
yes it is just because the baby is getting too big and is pushing on your stomach and esophagus. This happened to me to at around that time.
My mom had terrible heartburn during her pregnancy with me. It went away for her. Most things that are a problem in pregnancy go away after the baby is born.
It will go away once you have the baby. AND IT’S GREAT!!!!
