I would take the mint tums whenever I had it bad and in the 3rd trimester every time I ate or drank anything other than water. The rest of the time when it was mild annoying heartburn I would suck on mints or candycanes. It helped me a lot. You won’t want to hear this as you’re only 7 months in, but in the end what cured me was giving birth. LOL Try the mints and I hope they help you some.
gaviscon tablets – not as chalky as liquid
What has worked for me in the past is Tums…but only the mint ones. The fruit ones are less than worthless.
If all else fails you cna ask your doctor for a prescription of Zantac. It does cross the placenta to the baby but the studies they have done have not showed any adverse effects. I figure it can’t be too bad if they were giving it to my preemie for reflux when she was in NICU. I am taking Zantac with this pregnancy and it is working great.
Tums, they help me a lot with heartburn.
my doctor prescribed my a low dose of zantact. like one pill a day. when i was pregnant.
Don’t lay down within an hour of eating dinner, this will help you a lot.
I took tums. I would get hearburn from drinking water. They say if you have hearburn your child will have a lot of hair. Mine did.
MILK!!! just a shot of it – its worked for me all the way through the 9 mths
